ULMâs KEDM presents âHome for the Holidays;â young artists to perform seasonal favorites
On Wednesday, Dec. 12, KEDM Public Radio, 90.3 FM, will present âHome for the Holidays.â Live performances of seasonal favorites featuring young artists from area high schools and universities will air throughout the day.
âThe holidays bring people together,â said Lila Strode, KEDM development director.
âJust like the smell of momâs sugar cookies and the gathering of friends and family around the tree, the sound of holiday music stirs feelings of love, hope and goodwill. KEDM brings a variety of musical styles and sounds, from carols to classical melodies to popular holiday songs. âHome for the Holidaysâ will fill the wonder and excitement of the season through glorious music passed down through the generations.â
Strode continued, âThis programming expresses the true meaning of the season. The areaâs brightest musicians will shine through with the joyous sounds that add to your existing holiday traditions as we celebrate the most joyous season of the year.â
KEDM is housed in Stubbs Hall, Room 250 on the °Ž˝´ĘÓĆľcampus.
