MONROE, LA – Ƶ is inviting high school and transfer students to the Spring 2025 Browse on the Bayou, February 22, 2025, on the Ƶcampus. Browse on the Bayou is a special college preview day designed with future Warhawks in mind. Prospective Ƶstudents and their families can learn about the more than 90 academic programs that Ƶoffers, as well as tour the beautiful Ƶcampus and hear from current students about why “The Best is on the Bayou.”
Browse on the Bayou is free to students and their families, but space is limited. Attendees are asked to register in advance at , which also includes a full schedule of events and more details about what students can expect.
"Browse on the bayou is an opportunity for students to see, feel, and experience everything that makes Ƶa unique and inspiring place to soar,” said ƵDirector of Orientation and Special Projects Ahmaad Solmone.
New for the Spring 2025 Browse on the Bayou, graduating seniors who have not yet completed their 2025-2026 FAFSA will have the opportunity to receive assistance from ULM’s experienced financial aid counselors. For a full list of needed documents for completing the FAFSA, visit .
Browse on the Bayou begins with breakfast at Bayou Pointe Event Center at 8:30 a.m. After a full morning of tours and info sessions, the event will wrap up at Bayou Pointe at 12:15 p.m.
Optional afternoon activities include lunch at The HUB or Schulze Dining, residential life tours, detailed campus tours, and Pharmacy Building tours. Browse on the Bayou attendees will also receive one free ticket to attend one of two athletic events happening on campus. Students can choose between Warhawk Women’s Basketball, which tips off at 2:00 p.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum, or Warhawk Baseball at 2:00 p.m. at Lou St. Amant Field.
"We’re inviting students to experience the full campus vibe,” said ƵExecutive Director of Recruitment Kristal Anzalone. “When students join us for Browse on the Bayou, they can not only explore everything Ƶhas to offer, but also enjoy free tickets to an exciting sporting event. It’s the perfect way to see our spirit in action,” added Anzalone.
