Thank you for reading the following information:
All Students
- The Fall 2026 Housing Application for ALL students will be available online Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 3 pm and will remain open until the 14th class day of the Fall semester.ÌýPayment will be required to submit an application. All major credit cards are accepted.Ìý
Ìý
- For First Time Freshmen, the priority deadline for scholarship and ACT consideration is Saturday, February 28, 2026.
- From January 6 to May 1, First Time Freshmen pay a total of $500 fee:
- $300 is due ($200 room reservation fee (non-refundable) and $100 prepayment of the fall bill) at the time of application.
- Within five business days after submitting a complete and paid application, a Fall 2026 2nd Prepayment application will be available on eRezLife. This 2nd prepayment is $200 and is due by May 1 to secure an assignment and/or waitlist position.
- From May 2 until the application closes, First Time Freshmen pay a total of $200 fee:
- A $200 room reservation fee (non-refundable) is due at the time of application.
- From January 6 to May 1, First Time Freshmen pay a total of $500 fee:

Cancellation of Application/Contract
- The last day to submit the housing exemption paperwork is Wednesday, April 1, 2026, before 5 pm to Auxiliary Enterprises, Strauss Hall, Room 260.Ìý
- The last day to cancel and receive a refund for your prepayment fee(s) is Friday, May 1, 2026. After this, no refunds will be given. Canceling your application means you are not attending °®½´ÊÓÆµor have been approved for
a housing exemption through Auxiliary Enterprises.
- If you cancel by May 1, you will only be eligible to receive a refund of your prepayment(s). The room reservation fee is non-refundable. If a refund of the prepayment is allowed, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing outside our department.

After moving in, students who reside on campus may not cancel their application/contract mid-year unless they are leaving the university or they are graduating.
Building RequirementsÌý
- The following are the Residential Life academic requirements:
- Madison, Ouachita, and Masur require a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to live on campus; priority will be given to students with a GPA of 2.3 or higher.Ìý
- University Commons and University Suites require a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Bayou Suites is considered a Scholar's Hall and requires:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required for continuing students.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and a composite ACT score of 24 is required for first-time freshmen.
- Apartment Building 5 and a portion of Apartment Building 6 are considered upperclassmen
Scholar's Halls and require at least 30 °®½´ÊÓÆµcredit hours (Dual Enrollment and Transfer Hours are not
counted). GPA requirements for these are:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required for continuing students.
- Apartment Building 7 and a portion of Apartment Building 6 are considered upperclassmen halls andÌýrequire a minimum of 30 °®½´ÊÓÆµcredit hours (Dual Enrollment and Transfer Hours are not
included). GPA requirements for these are
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required for continuing students.
- Warhawk Village Apartments require at least a 2.3 cumulative GPA with at least 24 °®½´ÊÓÆµcredit hours earned (Dual Enrollment and Transfer Hours are not counted) or be a scholarship recipient.Ìý

Roommate Requests
- Requests are completed in eRezLife by creating a Roommate Group after all persons have completed a housing application. Roommate requests must be mutual.
- If two students request each other as roommates, their assignment date will be the later of the two students' application dates.
- If you do not have a roommate request, eRezLife offers a Roommate Searching feature called RoomeeZ, where students can find other on-campus residents to request as a roommate in a group.
